Eyecue vs1.01 @ The Crossing

This is a daft exercise I assigned myself. I am interested in creating mini photofilms, called Eyecues, which last less than a minute.
They are supposed to be audio visual versions of a Haiku. Duckrabbit may well be up for an Eyecue competition soon…watch this space.

I built this piece for fun…it’s just meant to serve as an example of how you can enjoy yourself whilst learning new techniques and drinking wine.

I’m not sure that it even ‘works’…it’s certainly not finished, nor serious..but I enjoyed making it. You have to keep a careful (full screen) eye out for what’s going on…

I will be showing the above to the attendees of this Saturday’s Rhubarb Rhubarb event in London town. I am always encouraging our students to have fun and not be too daunted by all the myriad of ‘stuff’ they need to learn before jumping in. Balls…jump in…the water’s lovely.

If you can get up to the smoke this Saturday and can afford to invest £40 (YES £40!!) in yourself then we’d love to see you there.

The Crossing is billed as a one day artist’s development event, which it certainly is…read this little lot:

“The Crossing asks one question – are you going to stay where you are, live in the past, or cross over into the new world offered to photographers through technology, tenacity and a mind shift around what is possible and how it can be achieved.
