Written by duckrabbitThe marvellous Jonas Bendiksen and his 7 year travel across the former Soviet Union. This is not new yet this is still photojournalism of the highest quality from Magnum that has lasted the test of time. Proves that they can still get it very very right at times.
The range and diversity of his thinking and sheer open mindedness shines through every single frame.
Thought it would be good to celebrate this piece of work to counter this. Go buy his book and I hope they reprint it as they might like the fact that second hand values are high but that does not help Bendiksen or Magnum.

It’s one of my favorite pieces.
The book is well designed and made. And was a steal back when you get could it for £12, but it seems the internet has jacked up the price to something stupid now.
