An open letter to Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi from Assistant Professor Nathan Brown, an untenured professor at UC Davis.

And the petition calling for the Chancellor of UC Davis to resign for having given campus police the order to disperse the students, leading to this outcome. Over 10,000 signatures in under 24 hours, and counting.

Update: Since going live on November 19th, the petition calling for the resignation of Chancellor of UC Davis, Linda Katehi, has reached nearly 24,000 signatures. Chancellor Katehi is refusing to step down. (Warning: that link directs to the Daily Mail)
