Wow – a smile is a sign of a life worth living – amen

Its  a shame that the BBC sometimes publishes photography as an afterthought. Often it feels like photographically they are covering important and interesting subjects, half-heartedly.

Today’s picture story on people suffering mental health problems in the Congo should be superb, but much of the effect is lost in the reduction of picture quality. That said the smile on this beautiful boys face absolutely made my day, its both a gift and a great antidote to despair.
