A White Stunner …
Written by duckrabbitduckrabbit’s partner in crime David White has been working on a cracking story about a village on Salisbury Plain (where Stonehenge is found) that suffered a forced evacuation during the first world war. The Yanks wanted it to practice close combat, ready for the planned invasion of mainland Europe.
I’ve been editing David’s audio today, (which would put some professionals to shame) and having a good snout at his photos.
This one is an absolute stunner:

Ooh goody, when will this be finished? I love a good history yarn 🙂
Ah hah…well hopefully soon Adam, ie next day or two…I am wrestling with the post at the mo…
btw Ben, there is now way my audio would put most pros to shame…it may do the job, but that’s about it…but thanks mate 😉
Also…I know the above pic has had a bit of post production on it, not normally my thing, but in the context of this story, about a ghost village,
I think it’s apt. Anyway…if you don’t like it, enter it in a Danish photography comp for me…

Bollocks David you landed me right in it … I told some bloke you don’t really photoshop much, not cause your’re against it but because you don’t need to … told him you did this with some funny lighting effects. He swore blind you’d photoshopped it .. now I’m left looking like a right spanner.
Welll, it’s lit as well, so you’re both right..I had to light the foreground so I could drop the background available down..the photoshop only consisted of a bit of desaturation and dodging and burning though, nowt ‘naughty’.
Sorry for being a bit behind the ball here… did this get finished and if so where can I see it?
