The 19th Annual Amnesty International Media Awards; celebrating excellence in human rights journalism.
CALL FOR ENTRY , Closing Date 1st March 2010

duckrabbit was chuffed to have been nominated for an Amnesty International Media Award last year. It was a great, if a little somber event (though definitely not sober). Here is the press release for this years awards:

Have you have been involved in one of the many stories over the past 12 months that have helped to shine a light upon injustice and raise public awareness among UK audiences? If so Amnesty International invites you to enter their annual Media Awards.

This year, thanks to a generous donation, Amnesty International have set up an entry fee Sponsorship fund to support a limited number of submissions from freelance journalists..

  1. Thanks for spreading the word about our awards – I’m really looking forward to it, last year’s ceremony was completely inspiring. I’d encourage anyone who can to enter.
