David Hoffman – wankergate
Written by Ciara LeemingPhotojournalist David Hoffman has spent the past three decades documenting police brutality and the rise of the British far right. On general election day he was bundled into his house and handcuffed by police officers who took exception to an anarchist poster in his window. The video of this story is good but the audio is genius.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police denied officers forced their way into Hoffman’s home and claimed he was “restrained with handcuffs to prevent a breach of the peace”
So a group of policemen barges in his house and HE has to be handcuffed to prevent a breach of the peace? Why not gagged while they were at it, so that he didn’t disturb the peaceful neighbourhood?? Ridiculous! I hope this police people will have to explain their behavior a bit better than that!
I’m surprised they didn’t waterboard him for information on where he got the “supposedly” offensive poster!
I just love the audio of him speaking to the inspector.
DH: “where do you stand on tosser, would I be arrested?”
PC: “erm…i think there is a possibility you could be arrested for putting the word tosser up.”
DH: “could I say masturbator? or onanist?”
PC: “a what, sorry?”
The audio of this is so funny … its a classic and shows the law is an ass …
One of those times you are horrified and amused at the same time. Thanks Ciara.
