you know i feel really sorry for the media casualty. but truth to be told, i feel uncomfortable when Reuters or “foreign” press run headlines like “X number of people and ONE foreign freelance photographer shot.” we, the media, are there to report but we also SELL these blood images to news agencies for casual consumption. AND compare the cool shots on Facebook! sickening. let’s not be hypocritical about it. again it’s about US the media and not about THEM the people. sorry for rant – i have been reading Susan Sontag’s “Regarding The Pain of Others” recently.
