UK election project – Simon Roberts

Photographer Simon Roberts was selected by the House of Commons to be the official 2010 British Election Artist – the first photographer to be awarded this commission. In the weeks before the general election, he travelled around the country in his motorhome – and gained his own perspective of the campaign trail.
His work – and hundreds of other pictures submitted by members the public – has now been added to the Parliamentary Art Collection in central London. This BBC photofilm looks back at Roberts’ journey in his very own battle bus.
