Hinterlands blanket
Written by David WhiteI’ve just returned from the most perfect antidote to computers, internet, twitter, telephones and stress. The pics below show all the Hinterlands students relaxing around the massive campfire on the last night of the training, smoke from the yurts twisting into the sky. The last shot is a pic of some of the invited subjects and locals who were watching the students’ photofilms…they went down a storm. I told you we worked under a blanket of stars…the milky way was as clear as I’ve ever seen it…. Once I’ve sorted through the pics I have of the event I shall put a selection up..I’ve ‘only’ got about 4 gigs of digi images and a dozen or so rolls of film to dev…I’ve got to go out now and hunt down some chemicals to dev the acros and neopan…can’t wait…I love the smell of fixer in the morning. ( Note…I don’t generally like the smell of a fixer in the morning…they can really pen 😉 )
