Yurts, guns and aliens.
Written by David WhiteI told you the Hinterlands yurts were fantastic. The pic below shows Leo celebrating after finishing his team’s Photofilm at the workshop.
The second pic shows my son aiming his stick at imaginary aliens embedded across the valley. I told you that Mamiya 6 takes a mean snap…

Lovely photos. Seems that your son really is teaching you to see the light.
The 6 is indeed a wonderful camera — handles nicely, fine lenses, squares are cool. Spent most of Sunday with one, shooting portraits of VW fanatics (air-cooled only, thank you very much) and their lovingly restored and/or hot-rodded machines.
It was a bright, sunny day, so I put an ND filter on the lens, while I used up my last few rolls of ISO 400 220.
And forgot to take the filter off, when I switched to 160. Please pray that exposure latitude rescues me.
I’m praying John…I’m sure you’ll be fine…
VW’s? Pah. Volvos John, Volvos are the answer 🙂

You dont seem to realize THEY are here. He can see them. Across the miles of interstellar space they’ve come – and landed in a duckrabbit yurtfest of imagery.
What oh what will THEY return to the cosmos with……..
