Pay attention:
Written by David WhiteYou know, there is no way on earth spending £150 on this is a bad deal, if you can get in. To say Dan knows his stuff would be an understatement, a bit like saying Maplins stocks batteries…
If the below sounds like you then get moving:
Dan Chung – DSLR Video Training for the Real World
Following on from his dslr-on-assignment training DVD Dan is giving an exclusive workshop aimed at photographers and videographers who want to improve the way they shoot real world events. This is a guaranteed small group workshop with only a handful of places available so everyone will get some hands on tuition.
Dan will cover the basic kit he uses day to day including the use of ND filters, audio adapters, support rigs, led lights, sliders, LCD magnifiers and EVFs. Also covered in detail will be Dan’s approach to shooting, illustrated by examples of his work. There will be plenty of tips learned from experience on assignment. There will be sections on slow mo and time-lapse too.
If you shoot news, features, documentary, events, parties or just enjoy walking around filming the world pass by then this workshop is for you. Participants should bring their own equipment if possible but there will be a limited amount of demo kit on show too.
Dan has 20 years experience as a news photographer and has been shooting video for the past five. One of the pioneers of the dslr video movement he tries to bring the aesthetics of photojournalism to video. He has taught dslr workshops in the USA, China, Australia, the Phillipines, singapore and the UK.
Places are very limited, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment. The workshop will be £150 for the day ( 10am-5.30pm ) and will take place on Wednesday 8th June in the Jacobs Pro lounge, 74 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1EU
