…I was about half way down when I saw this one…at first I thought the bloke on the right had stained his trousers, then I thought it was maybe a dev stain, then I realised he’s giving it the stereo ‘Fuck You’. Looks like the Daily Mail caption writers missed a trick on that one:
“Wise guy eh? Gilbert Burleigh, left, and Joseph Delaney were labelled ‘hotel barbers’ in this 1920 picture. That refers to someone who checks into a hotel and robs fellow patrons.”
There’s a look if ever I saw one. Magic.
