The world’s first photofilm festival?

I doubt it (potluck slideshow might have something to say about that!) but still well worth a peek. And thank god the French have more sense then to call it a festival of multimedia. Opens tonight in gay Paris (what a city!)

Les Nuits Photographiques Festival is dedicated to the Photographic-film.

The 1st edition of the Festival, open & free to everyone, held in Buttes Chaumont’s Park in June 2011 in parternship with The Mairie de Paris. Four evenings of exclusive projections, convivial and musical meetings on the 3, 10, 17 and the 24 of June from 08pm until 00:30am

Photographic creation and distribution methods are constantly evolving. Our aim is to promote emerging talents, help to produce and spread photographic-film in all its forms (POEMs, web docs, time-laps, stop motion…)

A screening of an artist father of photographic-film will close each evening.

Also a programming of contemporary music will open and close each evening.
