  1. most soldiers don’t have to be there either – they volunteer to go and kill people, remember?

      Yes and I think there are lots of similarities between soldiers and photogs. Although soldiers can’t leave and many of them come from families that don’t have a lot of wealth.

    As a soldier, you sign up to go to war, but barring sustained major conflicts like Iraq or Afghanistan where you can be pretty sure of at least which country you’ll be going to you really don’t have much of a say in where exactly you get sent.
