We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic graduate to support the running of Cartel Photos. Cartel Photos is an exclusive agency and support unit for the alumni and current student cohort on BA(Hons) Press & Editorial Photography award. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the day to day running of this exclusive photojournalistic agency whilst contributing to a start up business in Cornwall. We are particularly looking for applicants who demonstrate the enthusiasm and vision to use this opportunity to develop their career in the field.
Possessing a broad range of photographic technical knowledge in post production, scanning, file and colour management you will assist with the daily running of Cartel Photos, which will include set up, day to day maintenance, syndication of single images/photo stories. You will have responsibility for the sales and distribution of commission from/to clients/P&EP Cartel members and assist with the production and maintenance of the CARTEL PHOTOS agency in both single images and photo stories.

Well well well. The above is right up someone’s street….what it doesn’t say is you get to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, play with more kit, technology, knowledge and facilities than you ever dreamed existed, and learn from hundreds of photography students across a variety of photography courses. Plus of course there is the small matter of essentially setting up an agency. Fascinating, really. Ok, so you’re not getting rich, but at least they are paying you to learn. You might want to get your skates on though if you’re interested…only 4 days ’till deadline.
