Anna S … Well done

That Anna Stevens must be a very humble girl because she forgot to mention on her terrific blog that that she won best multimedia in The Press Photographer Of the Year Award.  Well she would have done if that they hadn’t been so backwards and put her name in brackets under that of the photographer.

It’s like having a bread competition in which the person who grounds the flour gets the the award and the baker just gets mentioned as an afterthought.

Maybe they should call it the ‘award ONLY for the photography featured in a multimedia piece, NOT the sound, editing or production’, or maybe they should just WAKE UP.

No doubt the photography  industry needs committed producers  like Anna S who will bring the work to new audiences more than she needs them.
