Accuracy of captions, lesson 101.

There have been a fair few examples recently of photographers not captioning their images properly. There is no excuse for this…your captions must be as accurate as you can make them. If you don’t know something, then it doesn’t go in your caption, or you find out what you need to know and then put the info in. Sounds simple huh? You’d be surprised how many photographers don’t think this seems to matter. It does. Especially if you like to call yourself a photojournalist.
Right, that’s the lecture over with…it was only a very short lecture, so I hope you didn’t fall asleep at the back.
