Foster care fortnight..make a real difference

Today is the start of Foster care fortnight. The UK needs 10000 more foster carers, and you could be one. If you really want to make a difference
to a child’s life spend some time here, there, and everywhere.

One suggestion…if you do decide to look into fostering, I would recommend you approach a fostering agency rather than the local authorities directly. You get better support, better training, and better pay (but you can forget about the Ferrari..even an old Fiat will be a struggle, but then they usually are..)

All you need really is love, space – just a spare bedroom; patience, and the ability to put others before yourself. And a bit more love.
