Beautiful images- America in colour from 1939-1943

Take a few minutes to look at the wonderful images, in colour, taken by photographers of the Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information.

Seen on the ever interesting Denver Post Plog Photo Blog

I seem to have chosen the most monochrome of the lot….hop on over to get a real colour fix.

    Hey David

We did a small multimedia feature with some of these GREAT photos for the Dutch paper De Volkskrant last year.

http://extra.volkskrant.nl/observatorium/ (choose “start de website” and then pick the first story in the upper right corner “Kodachrome”).

Everything is in Dutch though… 🙂
