So bad, it’s almost painful. NCTJ 1988.

Someone (That’s YOU Colin Mearns) has put this pic up on Arsetome. It is Christmas card from 1988 showing all the students on the NCTJ press photography course in Sheffield. I am nowhere at all in that picture, just thought I’d mention it.- Cough-.

    Damn Ciara. Busted :).

That’s John…always fancied himself as a bit of ladies man….

Hey David. maybe you could tell us what happened to the rest of the people on the course … it might be insightful.

    Is that Greg?

  4. David White says:

Well, I can try….it’s not too exciting mind…at least half the people there are still in photography, either as photographers or picture editors. I don’t know about Suzanne or Anthea, the only two girls on the course. One of the guys would probably still be a photographer, were it not for him having a head on car smash after coming back from shooting football one night. He’s alright now, but doesn’t shoot anymore. Paul Delmar, bottom left, retired last year. I dunno what happened to Judith, our other, er, ‘tutor’. Colin, who posted the pic, was Scottish news photographer of the year a few years ago. He’s a blindin’ snapper. That is such a flashback for me it’s a bit scary 🙂
