Muse in brief.
Written by David WhiteHave you seen your muse lately, standing in the shadows?
You know what they say..a rolling stone gathers no moss…
The Ffotogallery in Cardiff has a couple of lovely artist resident opportunities. I may well go for one myself, just to get away from the maelstrom of midgets in my house.
Seriously, there are a couple of wonderful opportunities on offer:
“Applications are now invited for Two Artist Residencies in South Wales. Successful artists will work over an agreed period of 2/3 months, spending a minimum of 15 days working in Wales. The residencies are open to EU-based artists working in the area of photography, moving image and digital media. The residency will be an opportunity for the artist to develop a new body of work responding creatively to the local context, and to exchange ideas in a creative atmosphere with other artists and arts practitioners.”
The only snag is you have to pay them £3000.

Ooops…that’s wrong. They pay YOU £3000. Phew. Back in the room.
However, if you think that’s the only reason to do it, I’d say you’ve got it wrong. What’s that coming over the hill? Is it a monster?
No, it’s your muse. I know she can be scary, but we like her.
