As long as you need.
May I pay you in cash?
do you mind if we pay you this month?
Take your time.
I’d like to buy all of them.
Did you get what you need?
I recently did a series of video shoots for a hotel chain accross the country. My favorite was, “We are preparing the lunch for you to shoot. How do you like your steak?”
‘We upgraded you to first class’, ‘We will pay your expenses upfront’. ‘You know we think you are the best photographer we have ever worked with’, ‘What would you like to drink?’ and ‘I believe the lobster is really nice’…
In the course of my career I have heard all these things at one point or another, though lately all I have been getting is ‘We will keep your details on file” and ‘Its the Commonwealth bank here, now about that money you owe us…’
Lol….Lobster! Blimey. Never got an upgrade to first class either. I’m doing the wrong jobs.
Thanks all ๐

“What do you need to make this amazing?”
Hehehehe… David that was a story on a fairly well respected war correspondent called George Negus whose best friend is a guy called Tony Bilson who happens to be a five star chef… turns out George loved cooking and so we put him in Tony’s restaurant for the evening to cook to do his worst! The chef de partie was a television chef called Manu Fiedel that could see I loved my food so he kept on stuffing me with the treats of the table… the pigs trotters were to die for! Anyway at the end the journo wanted to talk to both Tony and George and so we sat down for dinner and because I had eaten everything on the menu during the course of me shooting George in the kitchen the only thing left I had not eaten was…THE LOBSTER! Hmmm and very, very nice it was indeed…
“Once we’re done shooting, we don’t need the suite and it’s paid up till tomorrow. You can have it if you want to bring a friend over.”
Said about a $4000/night suite in a Tokyo hotel after a photo shoot.
