I don’t want to be down about it crow source funding, but I went to the new emphas.is website and wanted to see how far Tomas Van Houtryve was doing. He had a lot of attention for his 21st Century Communism project. I was dismayed to see that he has to raise another $7800.00 in the next 28 days. I really wish him well but if he doesn’t hit his target, all the money is returned to his backers. And then waht, he said he has a timetable to adhere to.
I kind of expected more considering emphas.is is proud to have been featured in so many publications. The other projects aren’t doing well either, only Carolyn Drake’s project in China seems like it will succeed.
Besides wishing them success, I guess I better had learn how to play poker and try to take a positive perspective.
